Charity Golf Tournament Report

 
Golf Chair, Cornelius Sidonie (pictured above)  gave a summary of the tournament.  From all accounts this year's tournament went off smoothly starting with the cocktail reception on Friday 13th and ending with the prize giving at 2.30 pm on Saturday 14th. 
 
Twenty four teams vied for the Claude Guillaume Memorial Trophy which was won by Sandals La Toc.  Feedback from sponsors and players alike was very positive.

Rtn. Frans vandendries

We welcomed Rotarian Frans, from Ottawa, Canada.  Frans is a lawyer who spent thirteen years in Cayman working with Cable & Wireless.  He joined Rotary in Cayman and when he returned to Canada about a year ago, he transferred to the Rotary Club of Ottawa - Stittsville.  Frans continues to do work for Cable & Wireless and visits the Caribbean from time to time.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Rotarian Richard Spalding from the Rotary Club of Winchester, UK updated members on his progress on identifying a joint project between the RC Winchester and RCGI.  The board of RCGI will identify a project within the next few days that Rotarian Richard can propose to his board on his return to the UK.  This is an exciting development and President Dahlia thanked Rotarian Richard for his enthusiasm in promoting this collaboration.
